Hey! I'm Valerie and I'm the voice of our website.
Three years ago I was a lonely frustrated mom and artist about to loose it. So as a family we started a flower farm and growing flowers and realized just how powerful flowers are.
When I opened up about my struggles, I finally understood we are all connected in ways we don’t even understand.
I create art based on the flowers we grow and my hope is that these beautiful, magical and memory inducing images of flowers will make you feel good and treasured and loved and part of something larger than yourself.
JOSH MILLER
Josh is the reason we get anything done! He is our rock and is capable of doing pretty much everything well (except dancing and singing.....)
He is always ready to lend us a hand and keeps us going. He is the best father to our three boys and makes sure we are having enough fun along the way.
He also makes most of the decisions and is in charge of printing and shipping all of Steel Cow Flower Art prints.
EDDIE MILLER
Eddie is our oldest. He is a handsome little fellow who has a zest for life and is wise beyond his years. He loves all things outdoors - especially fishing and golfing.
HARRY MILLER
Harry is our red - haired middle child. He is lovely - as long as his needs are being met.
Fortunately for us he loves projects and is perfectly content with a roll of tape and some cardboard. And a bowlful of berries.
Harry is the first to give you some flowers (or a single tiny flower) - just because.
ELLIS MILLER
Ellis is our stereotypical baby. I swore I wouldn’t treat my baby like a baby - but its hard not to. Just look at those cheeks!
He was 4 this summer and is growing as quickly as our weeds. He is the first to want to play and skip out of work!
BIRDIE MILLER
Birdie is our grey cat. We found her and her sister in our garden shed as newborn kittens in 2021. We are new to cats (we have always been dog people), but we love her and having her around.
SYLVIA MILLER
Sylvia is our black cat. She is Birdie's sister and they make quite a pair. These two are almost always around and love attention - but not too much! She likes to sit on my back while I plant flowers.
We love spending time together (well - most of the time!) playing dinosaurs, fishing, golfing, camping, adventuring, growing lavender and flowers, hammocks, traveling, doing art projects and so much more.
Our family is growing up quickly and we are trying our best to SAVOR this busy time in our lives as even though it gets overwhelming at times we know little boys don't stay little for very long.
