Sisters

I love this beautiful daffodil.

It is a very old variety - in fact it was one of Thomas Jefferson's favorite flowers!

Originally known as seventeen sisters in the 1700's, it's now commonly known as Avalanche.

I bought 100 of these bulbs and planted them in the ground in Iowa - but only 4 came up and this was one of them.

Apparently they like warmer weather -  but if you are in zone 6 or higher this daffodil variety would be a lovely addition to your garden!

Luckily for those of us in colder environments, we can enjoy "Sisters" year round in canvas print form!

"Sisters" features flowers I (Valerie Miller) grew in my garden and flower farm in one awesome canvas print.

Arrives with fully printed gallery wrapped edges, no need for a frame, with a built in hanger ready to hang straight from the box.
